Pixie Population
Created for Preggo Jam 3, Pixie Population is a game about finding a (mostly) human-sized pixie in the forest who wants your help making more little pixies! Her tribe cast a spell on her to make her 'more compatible' with humans... but once you get the magic flowing again, you realize that 'more' is kind of an open-ended concept...
This idea heavily inspired by a certain foxy waifu in Corruption of Champions 2.
The game ended up mostly being an exercise in teaching myself how to make a sandbox-y game in Twine, and I didn't quite dedicate enough time to getting it done this month, so I may well revisit this and continue things in the future.

A fun concept, but it's really clear that it wasn't finished. I don't mind not having pictures, but I feel like you can make up for that by adding in a bunch of written descriptions. There's some descriptions, but they don't change often enough, and end too soon. Maybe add a couple cutscene-like scenes where she, like, bonks her head on a doorframe, or notices that a blanket she liked is now way too small? The only actual issue with this is that, at a certain height, the game stops displaying her height. It's really easy to make her huge, but, after a certain point, the only thing that changes is the text saying how many babies she's having.
Still, not bad at all.
For me, there's not enough story or gameplay to make up for the fact there's no images. I sort of just feel like I'm spinning my wheels with this game pretty quickly. The dialogue changes are slight, and maybe there's more later on but there wasn't anything to encourage me to keep going. It IS a good base for things and I'm following the creator now but it's a very simple loop of things.
Yo.
I'm not very good with English, so I'm not good at giving you real feedback on your game, sorry.
It's a shame there aren't any images, otherwise I think I understood most of it. However, I can't give an opinion on your writing level.
I like the story. The hero's reaction is a bit cliché. The setup is too, but the story works well. I stopped counting from 400 children with pregnancies to over 80 children per birth. The upgrade system works. More text differentiating between belly levels would have been interesting. I wouldn't have said no to more descriptive scenes about the pregnancy or childbirth phases.
Anyway, I practiced my English (lol) and I still enjoyed the story, even though I would have liked to reach the end. But since it was starting to go around in circles, I figured there weren't any.
Thanks for your project. I had a great time. I'll keep an eye on how it progresses. See you next time, and well done. ^^
